Here's a list of FAQ's that may help in
answering a few questions you may have. Also, please refer to the About CDbook and Ebooks page for more information about
installation and usage.
(Q) What is the operating system I need in order to
view a CDbook that is purchased from EastmanPublishing.com?
- (A) You will need at least a P100 with 16MB
RAM/Higher, Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
(Q) Why doesn't the CD install after placing it in
the CD-ROM drive?
- (A) Each CD is designed to
"Auto-Run". Please check and make sure your "Auto-Run" is turned on.
If you have other CDs that automatically run after placing one into the CD-ROM drive,
your's will too.
(Q) How much free space do I need on my harddrive,
in order to install a CDbook?
- (A) Our CDbooks only require less than "two
megabytes" of space on your harddrive. All other information is left on the CD and
can easily be viewed after installation.
(Q) Do I need to purchase, install, or download any
other type of program in order to use any of the CDbooks that EastmanPublishing.com
offers?
- (A) No, our CDbooks have a "Built-in Reader", no
other program is necessary.
(Q) I've installed a CD and have taken it out of
the CD-ROM drive, after placing it back into the drive, a little box shows on my screen
with two buttons, one says "OK" and the other "Reinstall". What should
I do?
- (A) Click the button that says "OK" to continue
(which will open the "Enter" page), the other button ("Reinstall") is
just asking whether or not you want to install the CD again.
(Q) How do I print a page of my choosing within a
CDbook? It only prints the first page whenever I choose to print.
- (A) A CDbook gives you a choice to print a single page or
several pages at a time that you choose. Please refer to How-to
Print From a CDbook for detailed instructions.
